Instagram's head, Adam Mosseri, said in January 2025 that watch time, likes and sends (shares by DM) are the top three ranking signals, with sends counting more for reaching people who don't follow you (source). We write for all three.

§3Lagos buyers

How Lagos actually buys.

  1. WhatsApp is the checkout.Every post ends with a clear path to a chat, with a ready-made first message.
  2. Show the price in naira."DM for price" adds a step. A visible price lets people decide before they message.
  3. Answer fast.Saved replies for price, sizes, delivery and payment, so no one waits.
  4. Make delivery feel safe.Areas, fees and timelines up front. Show real packing and dispatch.
  5. Time it to payday.Bigger offers around payday (often month-end). Smaller treats mid-month.
§4Measurement

We measure what pays.

Likes are nice. Chats and orders pay the bills.

§8Questions

Straight answers.

Is the spec concept really free?

Yes. It's a short PDF with the idea, a few designs and the reasoning behind them. There's no cost and no obligation, and you can say no thanks at any point.

Have you worked with other brands?

Odeyra is a new studio, so I won't pretend otherwise. The concepts on this page are unsolicited and unpaid. They exist so you can judge the thinking and the craft before you spend anything.

Who actually does the work?

I do: research, strategy, writing and design. Where a project needs a photographer, a creator or a developer, I'll tell you upfront who they are and what they cost.

Do you run the ads too?

Yes. Ads run from your own Meta account, so you keep the data and the ad history. You pay Meta directly; our fee is separate.

Can you guarantee sales or followers?

No honest studio can. I guarantee the deliverables, the deadlines and clear reporting. Any projection I share is labelled as an estimate.

Do we sign anything, and how is payment handled?

Yes: a short, plain-English agreement covering scope, timeline, fees, revisions, ownership and cancellation. First projects use a deposit and a balance on delivery, and you get a proper invoice every time.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Monthly work can stop with 14 days' written notice, and you keep everything you've paid for.

Who owns the work?

You do, once it's paid for. I'd like to show it in my portfolio, but only if you're happy with that.

Will you appear in our videos?

I direct, write and edit. On camera, it works best with you, your team or a creator you choose.

Where did you find our contact details?

From your public website or business profile. If you'd rather not hear from me, say so and I won't contact you again.
